the gobies are tiny... once they grow alittle they are going into the big tank of mine.... and the Dwarf Seahorse are even tinier than the gobies......

yep, that is me....... strange...... I have the same NIC on both forums...........LOL........ anyway, Dana is where I got my horses, like you say, and I won't promote him but the horses are still alive and doing well. One male started having his babies last night....

why?? Scared of them....... I ahve decided to make a Dwarf Seahorse tank.... they are arriving this Friday I have 2 sexy dancing shrimp, 2 small gobies, and snails so far in the tank so the Dwarfs will have plenty of company pics will soon follow

Do you clean your skimmer?? I know to clean the cup but is it possible to clean the inside of the skimmer? There seems to be alot of 'gunk' inside of the thing.... just seems to me the inside should be clean or else you'lll just be introducing 'stuff' back in your tank that you may be trying to get rid of.... and if it is possible to clean the inside, just how do you do it??? mine won't come apart :(

*holds up 3 fingers* Scouts honor.... I am seriously trying NOT to overfeed now......... now that I understand that what I am feeding is a 'supplement' ..... Once I read what everyone is feeding I can adjust my food schedlue and amount........ I just always heard "I feed 3 times a day" so I just figured the fish NEED food at least 3 times a day........ now I see they don't neccessarily need all that food......... Thanks!!

My name is Jan .....and I overfeed...... there I said it lol so therefore I have a cyano problem.... I cut back the lights, which are new bulbs, to 6hrs and still having problems..... I am trying to cut back on the feeding but I don't want to starve my tank inhabitants....I just dont' quite know HOW MUCH to feed at one sitting and still make sure everyone gets their bellies full.... I put in 1-mysis cube, 1- cyclops cube.... twice a day....for a 30G tank.... anyway, my question is..... what kind of Phosphate media should I use?? Yea, I know... I have the BBS setup... I already use it for 'treats' for my 30G..... Seems Dwarfs are the only thing I will be able to put in it.... I thought SURE a couple of small False Percula clowns and an anemone would be nice but guess not :(

only if I wanted to keep Dwarfs.. and that is an option.... I think I would be scared of the Mantis thing....

would an Anemone be able to live in this tank??

I have a Marineland HEX7 I got from Beemer when she had the tank tour.... its been sitting here in the box.... I want to set it up but am undecided what to place in it...... I was considering a couple of clowns and an anemone but I don't know if the lighting would be suffienct for the anemone........ anyone got suggestions for inhabitants for this little tank??? anyone got one?? pics???

I have 2 clowns and they are doing some sort of 'dance'.... could it be courtship?? when close together they both seem to 'quiver' violently... they only do this when next to each other..... is this normal??

I hate the thought of wasting all that water when making RO/DI water..... would it be possible (meaning NOT difficult) to direct the waste water to say..... a bucket?? I would like to use the waste water for my outside flower pots instead of going down the drain........ would this be possible??
