  1. I like what the pellets did for my tank. But its curious that we over feed in order to offset too much of a good thing. I think the version of the reactor that allows for effluent control w/o decreasing the tumble in the chamber might be the way to go.

  3. Just did a water change and some maintenance, I was surprised at how clogged the nozzle was. I have had it running for about a month.
  4. Yes! Night and day difference from the stock rig. I will let Justin chime in on any scientific benefits.
  5. Avast MR5 run off Dart. Vertex Pellets. Discharge right above intake to ASM G-3 in sump. Positives, I attribute eradication of Bubble algae to them. have browned out some of the acros. easiest to tell on the yellow tabling. Dont think lps like them GO SLOW!!!! Started well below recom amount and gradually increased over a couple of months. GL
  6. Have you talked with Reeflo? They will do that for you and give a short additonal warranty. Just a thought.
  7. Yup. Yup. Yup. and Yup. Feed the holding tank a couple of times then monitor parameters. The heater would be required but not the light. how long until you start the tank?
  8. Random pics Check out posts #77 and #90 from Sep 2011 and 2012.
  9. Hard to say with absolute certainty. I have been able to keep multiple tangs and angels. I think being well fed and enough hiding/sleeping spots are the keys. I had to get rid of a Scopas ‘cuz it took down every other tang I added. Currently have Powder Blue and Kole Tangs and Flame, Midnight angels. Adding a Potters angel tomorrow. Adding at same time will also help I think. Check Liveaquaria for genus info.
  10. PO is high bit I think your Nitrates are okay. I would start with water changes, checking your source water, food type/amount.
