Waterworld December 5, 2021 Share December 5, 2021 (edited) Can anyone id this life form. Noticed it in one of my tanks. It’s at the center of the screen off to the left (looks like a rocket) Friend or Foe? Thanks! Edited December 5, 2021 by Waterworld
DaJMasta December 5, 2021 Share December 5, 2021 If it's flat and moves around, it could be a flatworm of some kind - difficult to ID unless you see it doing crime in your tank, but there are a number with that sort of split tail look. If it's stationary and sort of 3 dimensional, could be a pineapple sponge. Either is reasonably likely to be harmless, but some kinds of flatworms have a specific diet that we wish they didn't.
