How Often Do You Feed Your Fish Tank???

So, I was feeding my fish tank twice a day. Then I had (have) an outbreak of cynobacteria (red slime) covering my sandbed. I have cut back to once a day. Thought I would ask how often fellow reefers feed their tanks. (Regardless of any cyno outbreak)

i have a 55g and i know people with larger systems feed like everyother day cause theres enough stuff for the fish to eat on when the tank is more mature, but mine isnt large and i dont really have enough stuffs for the fish to feed on constantly..atleast thats what ive put together from what i heard..

Well, I'm FOLR, but I feed nori 1x, pellets 3x, frozen 1x per day.

All fish fat and happy

I feed 2 out of 3 days... 2 days feeding, 1 day off... My fish are quite fat...

For me it really depends on the tank. I didn't respond to the poll itself but depending on the fish in the tank and number of them, I feed anywhere from every day to every 2nd or 3rd day.

I feed the tank once a day and then target feed my triggers again later in the day so they don't develop a craving for cleaner gobie

 

 

 

Cyclopeeze, selcon, Golden pearls and Phyto feast every 4 or 5 days or so

I voted once a day, but in reality I feed them twice one day, once next day, twice the following day, and more likely not at all the next day... and this is not a schedule.. it is based on when I'm home and available to feed them due to business travel.

yep I answered once a day as well- which is a general assumption because i chnge what and how much I feed each day- I feed heavy only once a week, But I add nori soaked in selcon nearly every day, occasionally add dts and golden pearls, and cyclopese. It is kind of only one time when I get home in the evening

- but the dts and pearls usually go in after lights have been out a while on the heavy feeding day-

Cyclopese is good for everything in the aquarium at almost anytime, just a matter of whether I want to truck up to the freezer to cut off and thaw a peice.

I remember Marvin saying at Atlantis he feeds his big tank probably 6 times a day. It's all a matter of how fishload, skimming, and amount.

I feed every 2 to 3 days, there is always stuff for them to nibble on in my 240, my clown trigger, once to twice a day or he will try to jump out of the water to bit anyone or anything (dogs) that go near the tank.
