PaulR February 10, 2020 Share February 10, 2020 Anyone out there convert their Red Sea Reefer over to a roller mat setup? I'm running a RSR XL 425 V3 and like many, am horrible about changing out my filter socks. I've heard that KLIR + a custom 3d printed adapter will fit, but I'm also just thinking about pulling the entire sock baffle and putting in a ClariSea SK-5000 plumbed directly to the return. I know that BRS plumbed their RSR XXL750 with a rollermat when they built it, but my tank is about a year old at this point so tearing apart existing pluming is a bit daunting to me right now because it opens up a whole set of "well, if I'm modifying it... do I get rid of the RS gate valve and put in..." kind of thoughts.
