Do you test and supplement?

In case you didn't know, the three most important supplements for your tank are Calcium, Alkalinity, and Magnesium.  These three supplements are essential for the health and growth of your stony corals.  Adding these without testing, however, can cause a myriad of issues so we always recommend that you test your water first and establish a baseline as to how much of these your tank consumes on a regular basis and then supplement based off of those numbers.  We never recommend that you simply dose additives to your tank without knowing how these will impact you and an excess of calcium or alkalinity can actually cause your tank's levels to go down in the other to dangerous levels.  Dosing magnesium can help to balance these out by preventing them from bonding to each other and forming insoluble and unusable forms of calcium carbonate.
