KingOfAll_Tyrants June 11, 2019 June 11, 2019 Random thoughts that came to me when I looked at one of my corals yesterday. This was my first stony coral; I got it from Azim in December 2017. (the pic of it on the sandbed was the day I introduced it) It did OK for a bit, but then went through a rough patch, to include some bleaching last year (thanks to dpassar for taking it in when it was injured and I was out for like a month last year). Now, looking at it (the second picture), I swear that the "brain" grows noticeably every day. There was at least 1-2 coralites that were flat on the rock on Saturday, now presumably part of the "brain". The colony definitely further encrusts daily……….. it's grown well under a Kessil 360, and a dosing regimen that tries to keep DKH around 8.0 or so.

KingOfAll_Tyrants June 13, 2019 Author June 13, 2019 this is about 16 inches from the surface. Intensity got up to 100%. As I recall, the PAR measurements were between 50 to 100 PAR. if you want, I can dig through my notes and try to find the number. I found the Kessils do pretty well for this coral.
elwallacejr June 13, 2019 June 13, 2019 No need to dig. Thanks for the info!Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
