Avast ATO Question: Can I change IO version to bare wir

ATO Question: Can I change IO version to bare wire? Buying the bare wire version isnt in the budget 

 

Could i in theory cut off the (ps2?) connector of the Apex IO version and hook it to my break out box? I need to keep the IO port for my break out box.

Yes, I did the same thing with my Avast ATO (with apex I/O). I contacted avast and they told me exactly which 2 wires to connect to the breakout box (brown and black IIRC). Better contact them for confirmation though.

I found similar info burried on RC which terminal does which wire go to?

Not sure it matters, but I have the brown wire going into the red terminal and the black wire going into the black terminal.
