edress714 July 11, 2016 July 11, 2016 Okay so I have this sump. I need to install a baffle right of skimmer and one the same height on the other side. now my issue is the intake part on the left. water filled up and pours over to the skimmer area. how can I put a sock filter in there and be able to clean it? do I need to cut the top piece off? suggestions please!
Origami July 23, 2016 July 23, 2016 It doesn't look like you can easily add a sock to that design. The chamber is pretty narrow and it looks like the water level runs very high in that leftmost compartment before spilling over the endge. That is, unless there are slots cut lower in that leftmost baffle to limit the water level there. If that's the case, then if you were able to remove that drain pipe for regular maintenance, then you might be able to jam a sock in that compartment that goes around it and rises up above the slots but no higher than the spillway at the top of the sump.
