Guest ethandvm April 25, 2006 April 25, 2006 I wanted to start a 10g Nano. I have most of the necessary equipment but I have a question about lighting. What light would anyone recommend? I have been looking at the Current Dual Actinic and the Coral Life 1-9W actinic, will these be enough lighting. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
gastone April 25, 2006 April 25, 2006 Is this a standard 20" long 10G tank? I used to have an 80W 20" Orbit fixture that fit very nicely on a 10g. Nice coloration and plenty of wattage. Garrett.
Prunfarm April 26, 2006 April 26, 2006 I used a 96 watt powerquad on my 10 (when I had it). It worked out very well, as long as I changed the bulb every 6 months. If you use a retro kit, you can put it in a custom hood. Nano - reef dot com has great info too.
Caribbean Jake April 26, 2006 April 26, 2006 hint: take pictures of the set up before and after, and through the set up. They will help you in the future for comparison and a lot of members here like looking at new set ups as well. good luck Jacob
