edress714 December 3, 2015 Share December 3, 2015 I have a hippo tang and the bright blue part is really dark. He was nice and blue just the other day. Haven't changed anything in the tank. Any idea?

Fireshrimp December 4, 2015 Share December 4, 2015 Sometimes aggression from another fish can do this. Any chance of this? If he does have ick, is he scratching along the sand or rocks? Diseases can definitely make him change colors. How is your water quality?
AlanM December 4, 2015 Share December 4, 2015 The black part on my blue hippo tang in the childcare center tank is really large. Almost no blue on him. I'll try to take a picture. Is this what you're seeing or is the blue part getting darker?
edress714 December 4, 2015 Author Share December 4, 2015 The bright blue is darker. I'll see how he looks when I get home. And all the fish love each other.
