Yup I have a Aerofoamer 624 on my 125 gal. tank driven by a mag 18 pump. What is even better, I talked to the owner of reef concepts - Frank- who made my skimmer about the new becket injector and he was honest enough to tell me that my injector can be taken apart into 3 pieces for cleaning and I didn't need to buy the new injector that also comes apart for cleaning. Made my day that someone was honest and wasn't out to take my money. Better yet is that I learned I can take my becket injector apart to clean :D Cool study to read if nothing else. Craig
dgasmd October 19, 2002 October 19, 2002 These skimmers do kick butt. I have the aerofoamer 848 ran by a iwaki 100 and it is awesome!! I thought I had a very good skimmer with my 6 feet tall CC, but now I know better!!!
Larry Grenier October 21, 2002 October 21, 2002 Welllllll, I finally just set-up my new 75 with live rock and hooked-up my RemoraPro with a Mag3. I'm not trying to campare it to the Aerofoamer bbut on a 75 it seems to do the trick. I went to clean the wast cup an decided to the tho old deep-sniff test :p :( nuff said
