gmerek2 June 23, 2015 Share June 23, 2015 (edited) I have never fed my SPS and have been fine. But after coming across these videos I think it might be fun and beneficial to try some broadcast feeding a couple times a week. Videos show poop, roids, Mysis, then cyclopeeze. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TStG3yQx2ao https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7Yf2VTA8BRs https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CevVsYDI4Fg https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t5Dw9eFTtuo https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rF6XKRCT39E Edited June 23, 2015 by gmerek2
RW09903 June 23, 2015 Share June 23, 2015 I tried spot feeding my acro's and monti's with reef frenzy in the past. They secreted a lot of slime shortly after the feeding which lead me to believe it was pissing them off so I stopped. Watching these vids in high def makes me want to try again. lol
sethsolomon June 23, 2015 Share June 23, 2015 I personally think that feeding corals is a recipe for high phosphates. But that might just be me.

I might have the patients for a few spot feeds to see how they react. But I know in the long run I'll have to broadcast feed. I personally think that feeding corals is a recipe for high phosphates. But that might just be me. I agree 90% of the tanks out there probably can't handle it. But I think it would be benificial for the low nutrient systems.
