Reefer_Madness June 22, 2015 Share June 22, 2015 Does anyone target feed their zoas and palys? If so, what do you use and how often? I've been experimenting with target feeding Reef Roids ever couple of days. I turn off the flow and let the particles settle down on the head. They seem to be living it. Anyone have tips or advice? RW09903 June 22, 2015 Share June 22, 2015 I spot feed about once a week. I mix reef frenzy with a little Mysis and feed my LPS and some softies a few hours before I do a water change.
John Ford June 22, 2015 Share June 22, 2015 I do target feed reefroids with a syringe but not every week. I use maybe a teaspoon worth in about 2 cups of water. Sometimes I add vitamin c to that mix as well... They do get food from the water column and you always have to watch how much of anything you put in your system. Reefer_Madness June 22, 2015 Author Share June 22, 2015 I have my zoas in a frag tang that is plumbed to my display. The water that gets pumped in there is pretty clean so I feed everything.
Kevnjeep June 23, 2015 Share June 23, 2015 I feed once a week. Reef roids Amino acid Vitamin c Cyclopeze Mysis Iodine Mix in about 3-4 cups of water and have outstanding results. Zoas don't really take too much but palys, lps and mushrooms go nuts.
