One fish May 18, 2015 May 18, 2015 Hey guys. I was wondering if you had any ideas to secure my return line to my sump. Right now I just have a loose line and am afraid it will pop out and dump water all over the floor. Any ideas? I was looking maybe at the CPR sock it. Any advise would be appreciated. Thanks.
Squishie89 May 18, 2015 May 18, 2015 Is it your return or drain? Drains are the ones usually attached to a sock holder, returns are attached to a pump. I use the CPR 4" sock holder. I like it, I find it a bit odd as you need to pull up the drain hose to remove the sock, but that is fine for me as I have very flexible tubing and not PVC.
One fish May 18, 2015 Author May 18, 2015 I have flexible tubing, not hard pvc. Sorry, It is the drain hose! That is what I want to secure. I will look into the CPR 4" sock holder, thanks. Any other ideas?
YHSublime May 18, 2015 May 18, 2015 Any way to zip tie the hose around a stand leg or hook or something?
rrbigdog May 18, 2015 May 18, 2015 (edited) I bought a 4" PVC from HD, drilled holes is in it, stood it up and the Filtter sock fits right on top. Then put the flex hose down into the sock. Works great. Search DIY PVC Sock holder. Lots of options Edited May 18, 2015 by rrbigdog
