Coris Wrasses and SPS?

I had one before. Kept a 1 in sand bed but had some deep pockets in the rear of the tank behind the rock work. Never had an issue.

They get a non-reef safe classification for eating invertebrates and generally moving anything that is not locked down as they search for food under stuff. I have a Jansens wrasse. He ate both my hermit crabs. Can't keep shrimp either, but I think it's worth it. He doesn't bother my corals in the sense that they're tasty but for the fact that he's always poking around them hunting for brittle stars and what not.

All Coris wrasses seem to be listed as non reef safe. The canary wrasse is listed as reef safe. I think if you try a yellow gaimard coris wrasse it would be best to have a grow out tank for frags. Anything not locked down would be turned over.
