John Ford February 7, 2015 Share February 7, 2015 Those of you who have dimmable fixtures. Have you noticed a shorter than normal life on your lamps? I know when they first came out in commercial buildings the lamps didnt last as long. Im going to switch back to T5 in the next few months so im just curious which route ill end up going. Thanks
monkiboy February 9, 2015 Share February 9, 2015 no, I have not noticed a shorter life on my lamps than non dimmable. I don't have a ton of PAR data from when I had non-dimmable though to compare to. it's a non-issue with regular bulb replacement every 9-12 months. s2nhle February 9, 2015 Share February 9, 2015 don't worry about the bulbs. However, the relay and the noise it made during the ram up and down are the issues with the ATI.
GraffitiSpotCorals February 9, 2015 Share February 9, 2015 They make noise? Mine is really quiet, and giving me a good 800 par at the top so I am happy. I replace bulbs every 7 or 8 months as well so I a not worried about it. But when I ran an icecap 660 with t5s, that thing would burn them out quick!
