Shoelace January 4, 2015 Share January 4, 2015 I just attached my Swabbie kit to the top of my CS1 skimmer and then realized there is nothing in the kit to clamp the lid and Swabbie to the cup. The pictures online of Swabbies have a screw clamp system. Any ideas? I emailed Avast but just curious if anyone here has experience with this. Thanks. Mattiejay6 January 5, 2015 Share January 5, 2015 Did you retrofit to your current skimmer lid or buy the pre made kit?
Shoelace January 5, 2015 Author Share January 5, 2015 Retrofit. I bought the CS1 kit and the Swabbie kit together.
Mattiejay6 January 5, 2015 Share January 5, 2015 Well if you drilled your current akimmer lid the lid should have grooves that properly fit the skimmer cup so you don't need the nylon screws. Those are for the universal kits
Shoelace January 5, 2015 Author Share January 5, 2015 Unfortunately, the grooves are very shallow and the turning of the Swabbie blade causes the lid to pop out of the groove.
