Target feeding corals

Is it normal for the corals like montipora or some hard corals to generate slime when they are target fed? I just started feeding coral frenzy once a week to my corals.

Yes. It is mesenterial filaments, aka coral guts

Yes, everytime I feed my fish my corals get stringy white filaments all over them, some are covered. Also at night when I feed coral food, on the random occasions that I actually do this. mostly my acropora do this, not monties.
