Tank leak

I've had my reef tank for two years and I finally have it the way I want it. A few days ago I notice that my tank has a slow leak on the bottom left side, what would be the best to repair this leak I really don't have the finances to invest in a 75g tank. Any suggestions would help?

Borrow a stock tank from someone here and re-seal the tank. That is the cheapest route, just takes time.

I am going to help him drill the tank soon, so that would be a good time to try it. Would it be a good idea to cut the silicone away near the leak and reseal or just glob more over the areabof the leak?

Cut it out. Silicone doesn't seal well to itself and will more than likely leak again.

I have a 100 gallon stock tank that you can borrow. Resealing a tank that size is a cake walk. hang in there Reefer !!!
