saltwaterfishman September 21, 2014 September 21, 2014 stumbled upon this on youtube and thought about how cool it is:
lutz123 September 22, 2014 September 22, 2014 Very cool. You can't even see the water. I watched with no sound so he may have addressed this, but the clear pipe extending to the bottom of the tank looks like a huge risk if it were to start siphoning. Plus, you could never put so much as a net in without upsetting things, right?

Djplus1 September 22, 2014 September 22, 2014 I'm pretty sure salt creep would make this look awful in a salt water tank unless water was literally running over every surface of the glass 100% of the time.

SunWyrm September 22, 2014 September 22, 2014 I would have fish falling over the edge all the time. How would you prevent carpet surfing on something like this, even on fish that don't usually jump?
smallreef September 22, 2014 September 22, 2014 Keep bottom dwellers...I can't imagine this works for any of the normal top swimming fish...
SunWyrm September 22, 2014 September 22, 2014 (edited) I couldn't even keep my lionfish out of my overflows. They liked to sit at the edge. I could just see that happening with this kind of tank! They're stunning though, I loved the one at BRK, but I often wondered how they kept the fish in. Edited September 22, 2014 by SunWyrm
