hawkfish01 December 31, 2013 Share December 31, 2013 This is coming out of my green torch..torch was fine until this afternoon, when i noticed this brown slimy string coming from the mouths(double heads).... Immediately checked params..ammo:0 Nitrites:0 Nitrates:2ppm Zoas appear ok(before i po'd them with testing)stylo seems ok,heliopora ok... So..is this something to spaz about or is my torch in effect taking a crap? Changed light also bcause i think d120 may be a little too much to start these guys with bcause of height from water surface. This is a 9 watt (i believe) unit...if im not satisfied ive got par 38 bulbs i can use(just need light fixture for them, any suggestions on that?) Shoelace December 31, 2013 Share December 31, 2013 Not sure if torches do this but I know mushrooms expel their "guts" temporarily as a stress response. Try Googling that.
