I'm kinda with you rob...

Knowing for a long time that their nick-names are KILLER whales...why do people get so upset when they finally decide they don't want to be held in a pool any longer? (I have this same view for people that try to keep tigers, lions, wolves and wolf/dog mixes and bears as pets.....) which is why I also never took it out on my triggers when they bit me...because frankly I'm keeping them in a cube smaller than their normal roaming space in the ocean...I'd be mad to if someone kept me on house arrest for my entire life....

Yeha', and the part when she " Tease's" it, with Her Foot, time and time again... Come On Now,lol. She was just asking to get bit.

A Trainer opened the gate and let the more dominant Whale in, saving one's life...  How did we not Read, or Hear ALL over the New's about this... This is a Hero. lol Because it was a Cover-Up incident... This is One worth watching if you have not before...

I'm just blown away by how they get them, the trade, care and so much more...
Have you all seen the part when SeaWorld, separates the Mother and Child, and sent the baby whale to FL, The Mother Cried like Crazy for days, Reports of Noise's that were never previously heard before from the whale's...
Like Elephants, The Low Frequency travels FAR and Long... She was desperately crying for her child...

That's the part that was the hardest to watch...
Altogether, This Really does Uncover " The Real SeaWorld ". If at the least another Aspect that has been hidden, from public eye, for all too long.

Haven't watched this one yet, but if you want another marine related very sad documentary you should check out The Cove. Netflix has it I believe. It's about the dolphin industry.

I saw this when it aired and posted a thread on it.  It makes you think (which i like to see others oppinions etc).  After seeing this, reading the book Death at Seaworld, and talking to one of my best friends (she is a Marine biologist that studies mammals in the wild) I personally can never go to Sea World again.  It is on my list with the circus, your side of the road zoos, pet stores that support puppy mills, etc.

There is a lot of drama happening since this aired though and I have been following it all.  Here are a few updated articles on it.  Sea World trying to save face for the most part.

Fwiw, I personally think canned tuna doesn't taste as good since they took the dolphin out.

Getting upset over this stuff is kind of silly because if you look at your very own tank, mine included, you'll come to realize that you and I are part of the problem.

If we were killing furry animals on the scale that our industry kills fish and inverts, we would all be in prison.
