Fishie December 18, 2013 December 18, 2013 I am thinking of going from vortech mp40s to tunze 6095 or 6105 just to try something new my tank is 3ft x 3ft x3ft cube...which tunze would be a better fit I plan on getting 2
Fishie December 18, 2013 Author December 18, 2013 ok its a 135g cube...and I wanted to make sure that the 6095s were ok...they seemed right with the 3ft range they have awesome...I will proceed
Fishie December 18, 2013 Author December 18, 2013 one more q...how do I tell if a tunze 6095 pump is the newer titanium shaft one ...it has a blue impeller and is a year and half old.
epleeds December 18, 2013 December 18, 2013 I have Tunze right now. For the cost, 3 jeabo wp25's would rock ur tank and its half the cost. I have one in my frag tank and the flow is crazy. Don't get me wrong, I love my Tunze but the jeabo's are much cheaper and they come with a controller.
Fishie December 18, 2013 Author December 18, 2013 I plan on getting 2 wp25s also ...and I can keep them as backups or add the third to the tank for more flow in corners... may end up getting a used tunze for 150 with apex cables and the jebao wud be 70 plus the cable for apex close to 90-100.......not too far off if I can get more reliability /control from the apex fusion and tunze setup I am considering what you have said too tho...decisions decisions!
BowieReefer84 December 18, 2013 December 18, 2013 (edited) I would buy new either route you take. 2cents. Get the Jaboe then if you don't like get the tunze. I wouldn't buy both. Edited December 18, 2013 by BowieReefer84
epleeds December 18, 2013 December 18, 2013 I already had the Tunze 6105's prior to the WP25 coming out. The WP25 can push water clear across my 6' tank. Each one is on a seperate controller so I'm not sure why you would even need to spend the money for an apex cable. You can set each wp25 on its own program making some amazing random flow. So for $200 you could get all 3 jeabo's.
Fishie December 18, 2013 Author December 18, 2013 that settles it then...more jebao 25s...it is i really wanted control from apex so i can setup different modes throughout the day ... i am hoping the fusion makes it easy to set multiple modes for even the jebao with ease...we will see i guess thanks all
