While doing some maintenance yesterday, I managed to drop my kalk stirrer and the little thru-spigot fell right on my sink and broke right off. I'm thinking I should be able to just use some solvent to weld the broken piece right back into it's spot and should be good to go.

Sound / look like a reasonable plan?

Did it break cleanly into one piece? I would be a little more worried if it was a few small pieces rather then one large piece. Other then that sounds like it shouldn't be a big deal.

Yeah, it came out clean. The broken side that I didn't take a picture of it one solid piece. If you're familiar with how this is built, the acrylic that broke out is still solidly glued to the PVC as well.

if it's one piece and fits back cleanly, I would try gluing it.  If not, I would consider drilling it out and using a uniseal with a short PVC pipe.

That should glue up pretty easily.  let me know if you need glue.

Gotta love 4052, the stuff we use to bond pvc to acrylic.  It makes a stronger bond than the material itself.

That's good to hear! Glad it looks like a glue type fix.

I sure could use some glue - I have nothing that would be appropriate. Unless superglue gel is the right stuff
