So I have a Zoe colony that I dipped yesterday , it has a nudy issue, this colony happens too have two Duncan's attached to it. I placed it in a QT tank after the dip it's rather bulky so I set it on a rock to balance . Today when I went to pull it out of the tank one of the Duncan's split off and attached too the rock! So my question is should I leave it in the QT tank for a few days were its low flow or do they strongly attaché right off would it be safe too move it right in to my display tank? I have never had this happen before.

We'll since they are the only two I have I'm going to keep them, but if they keep multiplying I'll keep you in mind... I just found it quite shocking at least it was a pretty rock , it decided to stick too.... Splitting my own coral without even trying its magic!

Do you mean a single-mouth head split into two single-mouth heads? I have a softball sized duncan colony started from a single head, and have never seen any splitting, just new heads growing from the skeleton.
