Ne0eN December 3, 2005 December 3, 2005 Couple of days ago when Howard was at my house, we both noticed a clear slug-like creature on the glass of my refugium. Today I saw 7-8 of them!!! They are about 5-8mm long, look like a figure 8 and have a dot in the center which may be their stomach. They seem to graze on the glass. Any idea what it is? Nudibranch? -Rob
BeltwayBandit December 3, 2005 December 3, 2005 I second the flatworm diagnosis. But, I don't know if they are the "bad" ones or not. BB Update: looks like the harmless ones. Nudibranch? -Rob 46382[/snapback] I've had a few species of flatworms in my tanks... including the dreaded red planaria. These guys appear to be the harmless variety that never approach anything like plague proportions. Do a search on RC... Dr. Ron Shimek talks about these guys. Says that they don't live long in captivity though I've had them in my system for a few years. Garrett.
