Tunze 6095 resistors

I was considering putting in the bigger resistors (or smaller, maybe) in the power supplies to up the max flow rate by increasing the voltage to the max of 24 volts. Then if I need less, the Apex can handle it.

 

Have any of the Tunze users around here done that? Is there any negative impact on the pump longterm?

The resistors just change the power supply voltage. We swapped them to change the speed before getting the apex cable. One at max and one about half. Now we let the apex ramp them up/down.

 

I never checked to see if the resistors affect speed when under apex control. I do not think it does.
