SunWyrm September 26, 2013 Share September 26, 2013 So it seems that my hermit crabs have established boundaries in the big tank. Just added a bunch of lovely snails from Quantum, and decided to thin my hermit population. So I start pulling every hermit on the left side, all blue. Didn't think that was too weird, I might just have all blue left and it's not like I've been watching what my hermits were up to. On to the right side... 5 red legs in a row.... Now that's a little weird, but still not outside the realm of possibility. Start checking all the ones on either side and no doubt about it, my hermits have clearly picked sides in my 8' of tank space. It would seem I have some hermit crab gang wars going on. gmerek2 September 26, 2013 Share September 26, 2013 I noticed similar in my tank. I noticed in mine that the blue legs hang out in packs lol.
