brad908 August 3, 2013 Share August 3, 2013 Really hoping someone with experience with hanging lights from a ceiling would be willing to lend me a hand, hopefully tomorrow. I am hanging a 24" led with 2 wires. If you are familiar with the area, I live right off GW parkway and behind Rustico/Buzz in the brick condo buildings. Pizza and beer at Rustico will be treated afterwards. Thanks
BowieReefer84 August 3, 2013 Share August 3, 2013 (edited) How much does it weigh? I used these: http://www.lowes.com/pd_118084-10337-50425_0__?productId=3183831&Ntt=toggle+bolts&pl=1¤tURL=%3FNtt%3Dtoggle%2Bbolts&facetInfo= to hold a 4' 4 bulb ATI Powermodule. I would say if the fixture is 20lb's or less these work just fine. And with those you would need to buy two screws/bolts that would work with something like this: http://www.marinedepot.com/EcoTech_Marine_Radion_XR30w_Hanging_Kit_Hanging_Kits_for_Aquarium_Light_Fixtures-EcoTech_Marine-EM3131-FILTACMOFTHK-vi.html Edited August 3, 2013 by BowieReefer84
YHSublime August 3, 2013 Share August 3, 2013 Hey man. Sorry, meant to call this morning. I've had some major tank changes over here. I'd be more than willing to swing by and give you a hand tomorrow. Do you have a drill and different bits? Are you using a toggle bolt?

I have a drill and bits and the kit that came with it has toggle bolts.

I have a full hanging kit with toggle bolts that the manufacturer included.
