Djplus1 July 27, 2013 July 27, 2013 Does anyone have a better way to mount these things in a sump? I have melted 3 different mounts in my sump now. It's the 2 suction cup mount with the 2 clips that hold the heater. One of the clips always melts and renders the mount useless. Any suggestions?
ronl July 27, 2013 July 27, 2013 (edited) Are you putting one of the clips on the bottom half of the heater? If so, you need to keep them both in the top half where it is black and doesn't get hot. The clear part is where the heating element is. Edited July 27, 2013 by ronl
