Min and Aimee Salt Water No. 1

We added two female Flame Wrasse awhile back and recently one has changed to male or at least is in the process of.  Every evening we are noticing that the one that turned male darts around the tank and actually flashes.  Very cool

Here are some pics

Any body know if it has already completed the transition or will there be more changes to come.

The male flame was missing for a day. Didn't see it come out during the regular feeding. After looking around in the tank with no success, turned left, looked down and there it was.... Ugh!!!

Bonzai is doing good. Thanks for hookup BTW. The little patch of algae cleared up. I'll post a pic tomorrow when the lights are on.

Bummer! Sorry to hear. Those guys can really jump!

Thanks Chuck. I think he jumped out when I left the cover off after cleaning the glass. Gonna miss the little guy.

Issac here is a pic of the Bonsai.  I think it already grew out a bit.  Love the purple with bright green polyps contrast.

Here are some pictures of the tank I just took today.  I been testing the parameters every other day and making sure they are steady.  Alk 7.728  Ca 415  Mg 1325 with Hanna and salifert.  Have BRS dosers tuned in to dose 24 times a day.  I can see a lot of growth compared to pictures I took 2 months ago.  Color of the sps is noticeably more colorful.  Now it is the softies that are losing color.  It is very difficult to adjust the lights to suit both SPS and softies.  I also think my No3 and Phos being too close to 0 is causing bleaching of some of the sofies.  I am currently target feeding twice a week with aquavitro fuel and reefroids.  Hoping to have some good results.

WOW! Tank looks great! Has come a long way!

Thanks!  Yes, this tank has had its ups and downs.  All in all we really enjoyed the learning processing.
