YHSublime June 7, 2013 Share June 7, 2013 For those of you that are interested, here are my par readings, at 24% strength. My layout is the standard provided. I think I did a pretty good job getting all over the tank:
ReeferMadness February 17, 2015 Share February 17, 2015 Couple question about the evergrows r you still running at 28% strength and how high is the light from the water. Par reading is with no water movement right? Seems like a lot for 28%.. wondering how much i need to acclimate coming from the kessils at 100% 100%. thanks., the lights look good especially with t5 combo. madweazl February 17, 2015 Share February 17, 2015 Not meaning to derail your question but what prompted the move from Kessil?

I ramped up at 1% a day until I hit a 60/40 ratio. Again, I used the reefbreeders suggested layout at the time. I ran these lights with great growth on my 150 also. With the t5 supplement filling in shadows, you should have a wonderfully lit setup. 1% a day is total overkill, but I was super into it at the time. I started at 20% for each channel. If anything, I would run the t5 at 4 hours a day to start off. I was probably 10-12" off the waterline.
ReeferMadness February 17, 2015 Share February 17, 2015 Great thanks for the feedback. The lights r stronger then expected. The evergrow t5 is great medium budget setup for sure.
