Glass scratches

How can i remove scratches in my DT (glass)Is there a wamas member that do this for bussiness?

Yes, but its very expensive and time consuming. If scratches can catch a fingernail it's likely not going to happen. If also the quantity of scratches is high you also will find its not practical to do it.

probably cheaper to buy a new tank the same size than to try to pay someone to remove them

One way to polish glass very effectively is to use a "pitch lap". I used to push glass to make telescope mirrors as a hobbyist and we used to use a pitch lap to polish very hard pyrex glass to upto 1/20th wave.

 

Polishing plate glass using the same method should be much easier unless the scratch is very deep. If you want to try this method out, pm me.
