Kingumar April 13, 2013 Share April 13, 2013 I was cleaning a few pumps and left this in a bucket of vinegar and forgot about it. A week later, this is what was left of it. It's been a year since, I haven't touched it. I plugged it in today out of water to see if it works and it does. Would this be too dangerous to put in a tank or water for that matter? Jason Rhoads April 13, 2013 Share April 13, 2013 I personally would not trust that. It looks to me like some of the coating is off the wire near where it connects to the motor.
