What I'm not 100% sure of, is if it might contain any kind of stinging cells (for when it lets go and flys around your tank). Jan March 16, 2013 Share March 16, 2013 Sometimes they release their zooxanthellae. Anemones do that too. It isn't injured in the middle is it? Brown jelly looks like that too and can spread fast.
