I recently observed a very interesting thing regarding the anemone in my tank. The first couple of times, I thought it might be coincide that the anemone is protecting the clownfish eggs since the eggs were laid next to the anemone. But a few day ago, I am very convinced that anemone not only a great host, it naturally protects the clownfish eggs as well. In many instant, I notice the clown eggs are always close proximity to the anemone. The last 2 times, the clown laid her eggs far away from the anemone, but within a few hours later it is right next to the eggs and partially covered the eggs. Many time I notice the clownfish nipping viciously at the anemone when the tentacles touch the eggs and yet the anemone remain in the same position until the eggs hatched and then moved away the next morning.

here are pic of the host and tenants. Eggs are right underneath by the anemone foot!
