bcjm January 30, 2013 January 30, 2013 I bought a new one this week from BRS. I think it is defective but I want to ask people who has one that this is NOT normal before I send it back. The 110V AC outlet only runs about 5-10 minutes then stops. If I move the sensor (set it off then on) it will start to produce power for another 5-10 minutes. I tested it for about 30 minutes the behavior is pretty consistent. This is NOT normal is it?
rocko918 January 30, 2013 January 30, 2013 yes that is normal. you can change the duration if you open up the unit. This is if the float switch fails it will shut off on its own.
bcjm January 30, 2013 Author January 30, 2013 I don't recall seeing this information is the owner's manual. Do you know what is the max time it can be changed? My old set up from other brand is to use sensor 1 turns on the solenoid from my RO unit when the water level is low. If sensor 1 is stuck in on position the sensor 2 will shut the solenoid off when the water reach a higher position.
