kjamaya December 23, 2012 December 23, 2012 Watching it and learned something new. Late spring early summer during a particular phase of the moon for 2 days corals release eggs and sperm. What I find fascinating is that the "baby corals" can swim by moving tiny hairs on their body in the direction they want to head. When they land on an area that they want to be they attach themselves and turn into a polyp. This is when you gotta love Tevo..
CaptainRon December 23, 2012 December 23, 2012 I managed to catch most of it - the warring corals were pretty cool to watch.
Tom9 December 26, 2012 December 26, 2012 Watched with my 6 and 9 year old. They have now decided my tank should look more like the great barrier reef.
ExoticReefCreations December 26, 2012 December 26, 2012 Really enjoyed it as well. I liked the low tide scene with the acro colonies excreting muscus as a means of "sunscreen"
MBVette December 26, 2012 December 26, 2012 Anyone know if they are going to rebroadcast it? I only saw the first half and had to go out, and didn't think to dvr the rest.
kjamaya December 28, 2012 Author December 28, 2012 Same here I didn't DVr it but I figured as much as I love movies why not buy the show on DVD as I love the hobby.
MBVette December 28, 2012 December 28, 2012 It comes back on on Jan. 5th... You sure, I don't see it in my guide.
LCDRDATA December 30, 2012 December 30, 2012 (edited) I first saw it a couple months ago, I'm pretty sure it's something they rebroadcast on a continuing basis. Agree it is a really great program. Edited December 30, 2012 by LCDRDATA
