Origami August 11, 2012 Author August 11, 2012 And, you can also insert an image from Photobucket, too. Copy this "Direct" link to your image from Photobucket. Photobucket has evolved over the years, so your screen may not look the same. But the bottom line is to copy and paste the direct image link into your posts. This process works for other photo services, too. Click on the "Image" icon in your post editing area (it looks like a picture) and paste the Photobucket link into the popup. That's all there is to it.
Origami March 28, 2014 Author March 28, 2014 (edited) How to embed a YouTube video in your forum post - three steps to success. It boils down to this:1) Copy the Video URL from the top your browser screen. It'll be either an http: or https: link. Both will work. 2) Paste it directly into your post. No tags are needed. The parser should recognize the syntax. Note: The link syntax is very important. Double check before you copy it. One part to look for is the "watch?v=xxxxxx" at the end. After recognizing the front end of the URL, it extracts this back end and generates the code to embed your video. If the syntax isn't right, then it won't embed. Done.
