Need Suggestions

I'm having to go from internal to external ballasts on my light fixture. I'm looking for something to put around the edges of the hold in the fixture to keep the wiring harnesses from getting frayed. Anybody have any ideas?

You can put a couple of layers of wire heat shrink wrap around them.
