Welcome, Adam. I look forward to hearing more from you. I'm not an engineer myself, but always find you guys to be good conversation partners for my over-analytical, break it down to the molecular/evolutionary level style of rants.

As far as food goes in g-town, your options for ethnic palette pleasers is a bit sparse. Royal Bagel Bakery at 118 and Middlebrook is deliciously rich, though. The best pho around (in my opinion) is, on the west side of the county - 'Pho 95' - rockville, 'Richie Center', NW corner of the intersection 1st st and 355, and, on the east side - 'Pho Hiep Hoa' - wheaton, 1 block east of the intersection of University ave and Georgia ave on the north side.

As far as other ethnicities of food go, you'll want to venture into the district and northern virginia.

Again, I look forward to hearing more from you. I like the site.

Sorry Wogga,

I had totally disagrees with you on your opinion on "pho" restaurants. I know everyone have their own taste and opinion! But I, personally have not seen best "pho" in the whole dc metro area! Reason, is that all of them are made with MSG and salt! Only place that I consider average is "pho nam" on shady grove rd, Rockville. Best pho is one you made at home with real broth and fresh meat.

Well sounds like you need to come down to NOVA....woodbridge has a GREAT Pho place! Fresh hot broth, freshly sliced beef...mmmmmm...its my favorite place here so far..and beats alot of the Pho places i used to go to in and around Seattle.

We finally figured out where the heck we're going to live. We'll be in the Kentlands in Gaithersburg starting mid-July. Can't wait to finally be close to fellow reefers again! Not to mention how many LFS's there are nearby!

Kentlands is nice, got a good shopping center there. As far a LFS, not that many comparing to years ago.

Thanks everyone! Having stores within an hour's drive is well better than what I've got now. The closest store is crappy the only decent store is an hour away. Gaithersburg, I can hit several. Total win in my eyes :)
