Schreiba's ADA 60-F

Recommended Posts

Hey all,

Since I'm new to WAMAS, I thought I would start off by making a tank thread. I've had this tank running for about a year and half now and have gone through many changes as I've learned more about this hobby. My initial goals for this tank were for it to be a clean, minimalistic tank that was eventually focused on SPS. I feel like I've slowly worked towards those goals and now I am mainly in a grow out phase since I don't have much more room to add corals tongue.gif. I posted all the details of my tank as well as a history of FTS's that I've tried to keep track of. Suggestions and comments are welcome!

Very nice tank!! How does that overflow work?

Thanks surf&turf! It's really just the outlet and inlet pipes combined into one unit. They are connected too so it has an automatic siphon recovery through a venturi style tube. Here's a few pictures:

I love those ADA tanks and the MAME overflow. I hear that overflow is hard to find these days.

Yeah I got really lucky finding mine. A guy that leaves near me was actually selling one but I hear no one has been able to find one these days.

What are the dimensions.

It's 24"x12"x7"

Thanks Dr.eclipse!!

I just realized that is only an 8.6 gallon tank. amazing amount of life in such a small tank. congrats

Thanks epleeds! I probably have another 10 gallons in the sump too but the display is pretty packed with corals tongue.gif

+1 I love it so much more now after finding out how many gallons it is.

Thanks! The pictures always get people and they think it's much bigger than it is.
