Mike Mann May 14, 2012 Share May 14, 2012 can you frag a leather? if so how is it done? If you cant frag it can you trim them without doing any harm?
ToddR May 14, 2012 Share May 14, 2012 I have fragged a cabbage coral several times with no problems. I cut with stainless steel snips and rubber banded it to the frag plugs. After about two weeks they had grown to the plug and the rubber bands could be removed.Very easy process really. Jan May 14, 2012 Share May 14, 2012 Take a pair of SS scissors or a razor blade and chop away. Get a container and fill it with rubble rock. Place the container in your tank in an area of moderate flow and stick the frags in between the rocks. They will attach in a couple of days. they are like spider plants. Mike Mann May 15, 2012 Author Share May 15, 2012 ok thanks alot for the info. does size matter could i do like 4-5" pieces. and do i need to do it in round pieces since its a toad stool or will it grow round again?
Jan May 15, 2012 Share May 15, 2012 (edited) In this case size does not matter. You can make stars out of them if you like. They will eventually grow round. Edited May 15, 2012 by Jan

zygote2k May 15, 2012 Share May 15, 2012 I like Jan's idea of cutting stars. I think you could cut a big happy face from a leather and all of it would be fine.
