Go to the end to see any pictures.

I would call the order in and ask for 14 royal blue, 2 warm white, 6 neutral white, and 2 cool white. This will be MUCH better than 12cw and 12rb. I had a mix like I listed, and it was nice.

Put 12 RB's on one driver, and the whites (and other two blues) on the second driver.

You will be very happy imo.

Goodluck!

ps- do NOT use any optics. This will allow the colors to mix with no color spotlighting, and they are more than powerful enough to penetrate a biocube.

I am looking at upgrading the light in my Bio Cube 29 and found this http://www.rapidled.com/plug-and-play-biocube-29-dimmable-retrofit-kit/ I wanted to see if anyone has tried these before and if they are worth the money. Also if anyone else has any other idea for a good light upgrade for it please let me know.

A Byrnes did a LED upgrade for his 29g biocube as well. Not sure what he used and all, but it looks awesome in person. Much brighter than my radions.

Is there a cheaper way to up grade the lights?

Take the top off and hang a 150w halide over it. IMO that defeats the purpose of an all in one type tank.

yeah I agree I like the look of all in one
