steveoutlaw July 30, 2005 July 30, 2005 I have a green open brain that I used epoxy to secure to a rock that's resting on the sand. Lately I've seen some pics of brains actually resting on the sand. Where is the best place to put them?
emissary July 30, 2005 July 30, 2005 I keep mine on the sand now. It didn't used to be. http://reef.korff.org/pictures/Tank-In-Wal...100_2009?full=1 It was bleached a bit in one corner right after the move, but it's since healed and is healthy as ever.
Guest alex wlazlak July 30, 2005 July 30, 2005 whats that stuff all over your heater? nice tank, like it alot!
steveoutlaw July 30, 2005 Author July 30, 2005 Yours is a favia brain right? I have an open brain. Are they both supposed to be kept on the sand?
flowerseller July 30, 2005 July 30, 2005 I have both.... The favia I placed low but on rocks, the open is on the sand floor. I really matters where "you" want it, with in reason. I've seen plenty of open brains in/on rock work doing as well as mine is on the sand. I wanted mine there so that's where it is, otherwise I'd put it on rocks.
