ID Please

I noticed this guy cruising the the glass this morning when I went to feed and have no idea where he came from...I assume its the LR i have in the tank, but this is the first time I've seen him since Ive put the rock in the tank (about 1 month)

+1 If a predator picks it up it will drop it's foot. It does this to confuse the predator and cause it to go after the foot and leave the snail behind. It will do the same if you pick it up. They usually come out at night.

Awesome! Thanks for the ID. Guess I will be keeping it then.

 

I read that the predators includes 4 and 6 line wrasses and peppermint shrimp, so I won't be keeping those in the tank. Anything else?

Most predators like the wrasses are asleep when the snails are active so they pretty safe from them.

I had 6+ wrasse in my 120 and still had tons of them. I had some that could have made a meal. Well over an inch long. I never saw any of the wrasse even bother them.

 

I would never get another 6 line anyway. Such a PIA.
