Have anyone here use this skimmer? It looks really cool. I am thinking of it, so if anyone using it or know anything about it, pro and cons, please let me know.

It looks like most of the other cone skimmers on the market. What makes it "cool" to you?

I don't know of other blue skimmers

 

Would make for a nice in-sump color scheme.

 

The only knowledge I have of it is talking to Dr. Mac about it, he really likes his.

I'm pretty sure the outlet is integrated into the base, which is a unique feature for this and the Skimz brand.

Thanks all for the respond. I am still debating! I guess it is too new that not many people use it, but it is much cheaper than the bubble king skimmer, and I like it what it has internal pumps, and saving space with smaller foot print as compare to the bubble king.

What size tank would you be putting this on?

Right now, i have a 90 mix reef. I like to eventually go up later (not sure when) to at least 180G in the future.

Having two pumps is nice then since you could just run the one for now and when you upgrade turn the second pump on.

 

Have you checked to see if this fits in your sump?

yes, the dimension fit to my sump and as you said, having 2 pumps is great since I can run one for now or both if needed.
