Guest norellj July 12, 2005 Share July 12, 2005 (edited) This tank has been established for well over 5 years but will be moving soon and will likely start over. Panther grouper is decent size, but likely will need larger than the 90 gallons. Snowflake eel has been there from nearly the beginning, and is beautiful. Also have good sized maroon banded clown, plenty of rock, and critters if interested. Please email questions to jnorell@sysplan.com. Armson July 13, 2005 Share July 13, 2005 You do realize that the eel isn't reef safe right?? 34584[/snapback] Neither is the Grouper. They are both going into a FOWL. My brother won't go reef no matter how much I bug him. -B
dhoch July 13, 2005 Share July 13, 2005 Steve, Why do you think eels are not reef safe? I have one in my 180 gallon? (have shrimp, some small fish).... Dave

dhoch July 13, 2005 Share July 13, 2005 Snowflakes are not reef safe for crabs (they will eat them). Cleaner shrimp in general are ok with snowflakes (there are exceptions, but they are usually seen as beneficial and won't be eaten unless the animal is very hungry). They have been known on ocassion if hungry to eat other small fish (but this is very rare as they are not good fish hunters). They are escape artists and that has to be taken into consideration. They can also be clumsey knocking over corals which may be an issue. Other than those notes they are "reef safe". Dave
