I just ordered the lifereef overflow for my 30 gallon setup.

I have about 9 inches of width..plenty height and length....but the width is restricting me.

Its in wall and I wanted to find a sump of some kind that would fit, the top fin 10 g is just a bit too wide and won't fit.

Any suggestions...I am open to plastic tubs as well.

I am guessing a 10 gallon would be a decent fit.

It will house a mag 7 .... And a sump...ATM I plan on using internal or external turboflotor 1000 that I have from an older tank.

so i've tried the 10g long on the link you had posted but they don't make those anymore.

I also tried posting a wtb thread for that size but no luck..

any suggestions ?

i didnt want to go down to 5 gallons but i may have to ...

is there a local glass company and you could just buy the sheets you need and silicone it together for your own sump? its not holding that much water so you could do it....

I will google that and see if I can build my own sump...worth looking into I guess

How much room do you have for the sump? Post up the measurements.

If you have the tools and time I have some acrylic you can use to make your own sump.

I think the mag 7 is going to be too big for that tank.

I can accommodate 22-24 inches in length and 8.5 to 9 max in width...height I am more flexible with.

I was planning on using the mag 7 with a control valve to limit the flow....at least that was explained to me from the guys over at lifereef....the overflow can go up to 400 gph and I can throttle adjust the return accordingly.
